Yesterday I 'gave' up on a lot of things. As I've said earlier I do believe that there is always 'that' perfect time to quit, for effort applied in a wrong manner and in the wrong time would yield just another set back.

Master the Art of Timing
Never seem to be in a hurry – hurrying betrays a lack of control over yourself, and over time.  Always seem patient, as if you know that everything will come to you eventually.  Become a detective of the right moment; sniff out the spirit of the times, the trends that will carry you to power.  Learn to stand back when the time is not yet ripe, and to strike fiercely when it has reached fruition.

II.

Also, as cliche as it may sound, we all know that we have to let go of certain things in order to give new ones the space they need to settle in. Being sentimental is impractical and senseless, a paraphernalia should be disposed of immediately once it has lost its use. Pointless adoration is stupid especially when it is holding you back. By acknowledging a petty problem you give it existence and credibility. Hence all you have to do is move on from that idea that you are in need. Yes I know it is easier said than done but keep in mind that the beginning is always the hardest part, and all you need to do is get a good grip of yourself and start.

III.

Why do people find it hard to move on from failed relationships? For all we know, in no way was it ever perfect. Is it because we, as human beings, are programmed to want what we can't have? Or our egos wouldn't allow us to just give in? Could it be that we were predisposed to be just in love until we could hurt no more? Well let's not rule out the possibility that there are just some people who's worth the wait. Those who are worth taking the long way home for, the late night sleep and the migraine that comes morning after, or ditching on your friends' day out just to see that smile and grab a hold of that hand, they might even be worth your tears and unproductive days or even that sinking feeling which kills you every time you wake up. Oh well, never lose faith for sometimes faith is all you need.
